Pubwise ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What we collect

We collect minimal data and only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — if you submit the early access form on our homepage. We use this only to notify you when new features launch. We never sell or share your email with third parties.
• Anonymous usage data — we use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records page views and referrers in aggregate only.

Data stored in your browser

The Portfolio Tracker stores your book data (titles, prices, sales figures) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data will delete it.

How we use your email

If you submit the early access form, your email is:

• Forwarded to us via Resend (our email delivery provider)
• Used only to send you product updates and launch announcements
• Never shared with advertisers or third parties

You can request removal from our list at any time by emailing hello@pubwise.app.

Cookies

Pubwise does not use tracking cookies. Umami Analytics is cookieless by design.

Third-party services

• Vercel — hosts the application. May log IP addresses and request headers for security and performance.
• Resend — processes email delivery. Subject to Resend's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — serves DM Sans and DM Serif Display typefaces. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@pubwise.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
